A reprint of the 1787 Didot edition with these illustrations, by Simon and Coiny after Vivier. Somewhat based on Oudry's designs for the 1755-59 edition (MFA copy: BR1289), Ray argues for Vivier's skill in reducing them to such a small scale without losing legibility. This copy is bound in a signed binding by P. Bozerian.
