A counterfeit copied after the 1762 "Fermiers-généraux" edition. The illustrations are reversed copies of the original Eisen designs; some of the tailpieces are the original Choffard plates, some are copies. Several of the plates are very obscurely signed by Boily, Macret, and Milcent. The frontispiece author's portrait in vol. 1 is engraved by Savart--and dated 1769[!].
