Obverse: Nude young male seated at proper right drawing before a personification of Science (a classically dressed female) standing at proper left and holding a flower with a basket at her feet before buildings in background; inscribed at proper right and in exergue.
Reverse: Winged standing male at proper right, leaning on a shield and holding a branch in his right hand; inscribed at proper right and at proper left.
