DescriptionCircular medal of Ignatius Perner.

Obverse: Frontal bust of Ignatius Perner in high relief; inscribed in Latin in band at edge and on bust.

Reverse: Semi-nude male standing at center with shield in left hand and his right hand over a dog and cat while a horse, an ox, birds, and a sheep surround him, all within hexifoil tracery; etched in a cursive script in band at edge and inscribed at edge in Latin within a banderola and below.

Reverse: Inscribed on banderola "+DE ANIMALIBUS BENE MERITO" and below "F.GERBER".
