DescriptionEmbroidered in tent stitch in polychrome wools and silks on natural-colored linen canvas. In a landscape setting, the sacrifice of Isaac. Abraham stands in the center, one hand resting on Isaac's head, the other, holding a knife, outstretched. In the upper left corner, the angel, encircled by a cloud. On the right, a man lening on a staff, a horse, and in the distance, a castle. At the left edge, the head and two front legs of a lamb. Two flying birds and a butterfly. Worn, embroidery yarns rotted out in many places, holes.
