Passavant catalogued the print under three different artists: (1) as "Allegory of Victory" by Nicoletto da Modena (V, 100, 101); (2) as "A Clothed Woman" by Giovanni Antonio da Brescia (V, 110, 49); and (3) as "Victory" by the Master of 1515 (V, 90, 38). The Illustrated Bartsch lists the print as "Woman with Helmet and Shield (Athena?)" under Nicoletto da Modena as a rejected work, by the School of Mantegna, possibly by Zoan Andrea.
