春の部。江戸一番と評判の富士見の名所駿河町(するがちょう)は、富士山のある駿河国に由来する。手前には「現金掛け値なし」の商法で繁盛した呉服屋越後屋(三井氏、現三越)が描かれ、右方では主に絹織物(呉服)、左方では綿(めん)や麻の織物(太物、ふともの)が販売された。 -- 藤澤紫K
