冬の部。遊女屋の一室。猫の座る格子窓より浅草裏田圃(うらたんぼ)の鷲(おおとり)神社の酉の町(市)へ詣でる人々の列を描く。市は11月の酉の日に行われ、縁起物の熊手や八つ頭芋を求める人で賑わった。図の左下には土産らしい熊手の形の簪が置かれている。 -- 藤澤紫K
