夏の部。亀戸(かめいど)村の羅漢寺を描く。右の高楼は三階建てで、百体の羅漢像が安置され、すべてをまわると西国(さいごく)、坂東(ばんどう)、秩父(ちちぶ)の霊場をめぐったのと同じ霊験があるとされた。螺旋(らせん)状の階段があったことから栄螺堂(さざえどう、さざいどう)と呼ばれた。 -- 藤澤紫K
