夏の部。青梅街道と甲州街道に挟まれた角筈(つのはず)村の熊野十二所権現社を描く。中央の弁天池や桜、紅葉が人気を呼び、社の北東の滝は納涼の人でにぎわった。厄除けに霊験があるといい、俗称の十二相から役者の祈願も多かった。十二そうは、十二双、十二叢、十二社とも記した。 -- 藤澤紫K
