DescriptionCourt insignia badge (buzi) embroidered with two cranes symbollic of first rank civil official. Cranes are placed within a roundel, typical of early Kangxi period. Blue silk twill embroidered in satin stitch of white, green, yellow, black and brick silk, against a ground of couched gold. Waves, clouds, sun and symbols in satin stitch of white, blue green, black and brick color. Rock embroidered in couched iridescent thread made of peacock feathers. Border of couched gold- and peacock-feather threads.
