The woman reaching for the letterbox wears an apron (suggesting that she is a teahouse waitress) with the emblem of Ôboshi Yuranosuke, the main hero of the Chûshingura story. She carries a fan with the "kangiku" crest of the Sawamura acting family, but no actors are shown in this sheet; however, if it is one sheet of a triptych, they may have been on the missing sheets.
