DescriptionA dance play entitled Tsutsu izutsu iro no mizuage was performed at the Nakamura theater in the 11th month of 1779 (An'ei 8), starring Ichikawa Monnosuke II as the young falconer Samanosuke and Iwai Hanshirô IV as a country girl (see 06.582, 21.4368). The crests of the two actors appear overhead, but the performers themselves appear to be women imitating the famous actors, on the occasion of the annual Sannô Festival.
