The "kiwame" censor's seal began to be used in 1790, but Nakazô's last performance was in 1789.8 and he died early in 1790. This may be an older design re-issued in 1790 as a memorial print; the placement of the signature and censor's seal is very odd.
Nakazô had played Honzô in 1769.4 at the Nakamura theater.
