DescriptionObverse: Bust of Gambetta looking to proper right; inscribed at edge "LEON·GAMBETTA·2·AVRIL·1838·31·DECEMBRE·1882" and under bust in script "JC. Chaplain".

Reverse: Monument at center, inscribed on its front, with a tree behind it and two lightning bolts at proper right; inscribed on monument "R F", at proper left "QVO/JVSSA/POPVLL/-", and in exergue "MDCCCLXXXII".
