DescriptionCircular medal of François de Salignac de la Mothe-Fénelon (1651-1715), archbishop of Cambrai, commemorating his tomb in the cathedral of Cambrai.

Obverse: Profile bust of François looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "FRANCISUS ARCH.DUX CAMERACENCIS." and under bust "CAUNOIS F".

Reverse: Tomb monument at center consisting of canopy over reclining effigy; inscribed at edge "URBI VENERANDUS ET ORBI.", on monument "MONUMENT ERIGE A FENELON/DANS LA CATHEDRALE/DE CAMBRAI", and below "1825".
