DescriptionThe Wudu Mountains are mentioned in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a Chinese historical novel that was also well-known in Japan. The relevance of a Chinese place name to the theme of Japanese poetry is not clear; it may have had a personal meaning for the customer who commissioned this privately-printed work.
