DescriptionPlay: Fude Tsubana Yaoya Oshichi
Theater: Ichimura
筆葽八百屋お七(ふでつばなやおやおしち)
市村
At the Nakamura theater in the 1st month of 1768, the same actors played the same roles shown in this print, reprising their earlier performance of 1761. The main feature was entitled Fudesome Soga no Tamazusa, with Yaoya Oshichi as the second feature. However, the earlier date seems more likely because of the benizuri-e technique.
