DescriptionA jar with a flat base and a globular body with indented sides. Blue zigzag applied coil, trailing up and down between the shoulder and rim, and forming an 'openwork cage'. Similar glass jars are attributed to manufacture in late Imperial and early Byzantine Palestine or Syria.
