Obverse: Profile bust of Napoléon looking to proper right; inscribed at edge "BONAPARTE PRIMVS CONSVL" and "ANNO VIII" and under bust "LAV·".
Reverse: Nude man at proper right helping up fallen woman at proper left, wearing a classical dress and a winged victory in background writing on a tablet; inscribed at edge "XII MVNITISSIMIS OPPIDIS VNA DIE AD DEDITIONEM COACTIS", on tablet "HOSTERVS/PROPE/MARENGVM/FVSIS", below "A.A.PP.INV", and in exergue "RESPVBLICA CISALPIN/RESTITVTA".
