DescriptionTranslucent, slightly banded, reddish orange carnelian. Oblong intaglio with slightly squared corners; flat front and convex back. Fully-armored warrior from ¾ back kneeling to left. His left hand, holding a sword, rests on a groundline. The shield on his right arm is held high, forming a frame around his head and upper back. He wears a crested helmet, breastplate decorated with tongues and a sphinx, hatched belt, and skirt with meander patterns. Triangular pattern around the inner shield. Hatched border. Some scratches on the front. Missing chip at upper left.
