DescriptionObverse: Head of deified Alexander the Great to right with Ammon's horns, broad band in hair, hair covered by elephant skin with beaded edge below, and aegis tied at throat. Beaded border.
Reverse: Athena Alkidemos advancing to right, spear in raised right hand, shield on left arm; she wears crested Athenian helmet, chiton girded over overfold, and a scarf with "swallow tail" ends which passes forward from the back, is drawn up and thrown back again over both shoulders.
Eagle with closed wings at right.
