DescriptionBlack basalt ware; with a sleeping boy in high relief, lying on his stomach. Described in the Wedgwood and Bentley catalog of 1773 as one of "Five Boys by Fiammingo", or "The Fleming," as Francois Duquesnoy (1594-1643) was called.
