DescriptionCircular medal of Niccolò Piccinino. Pierced at top. Possibly a later impression from an original mold.

Obverse: Profile bust of Niccolò Piccinino looking to proper right, wearing a high hat; and inscribed at edge "NICOLAVS·PICININVS VICECOMES·MARCHIO CAPITANEVS MAX·AC·M[AR]S·AER".

Reverse: A winged griffin looking to proper right, suckling two infants; inscribed at proper left "PISANI·P·OPVS·N·PICININVS", on griffin's collar "PERV[SIA]", and at proper right "BRACCIVS".
