ProvenanceOriginated from Songdo (present-day Kaesong, North Korea). Between 1881 and 1886, Pierre Louis Jouy (b. 1856 - d. 1894); probably sold by Jouy to Edward Sylvester Morse (b. 1838 - d. 1925), Salem; 1892, sold by Morse to the MFA (Accession Date: March 1, 1892).
