DescriptionHead of a goddess with wind-swept, wavy hair parted in middle, curls falling on the side, tall headdress (polos), veil and round earrings. Lock of hair and chip missing at left side of neck.
ProvenanceSaid to have been found in Licata, Sicily [see note]. By 1901, bought in Palermo by Edward Perry Warren (b. 1860 - d. 1928), London. 1901, sold by Edward Perry Warren to the MFA. (Accession date: December 1, 1901)
