DescriptionBrown and purple-gray path, on which are two figures, winds between red-purple bushes and green trees towards distant blue-gray trees; blue sky. A late sketch. Formerly called Study near Dedham; but there is nothing in the painting to justify the title, and there is no record of Cox having worked at or near Dedham (Essex).
