DescriptionThe book was formerly attributed to Furuyama Moroshige or Okumura Masanobu and was given the generic title Keisei ehon (Picture Book of Courtesans) The correct artist and title are now known from the surviving preface and colophon of the impression in the Chiba City Museum of Art. The first edition features a border around the edge of each sheet that is missing in the second edition.
