Description(Paris: Jérôme de Marnef and Guillaume Cavellat, 1572) Folio; 182 leaves; contemporary distressed brown calf (rebacked).

Second edition of Martin's translation (the MFA owns the first ed. of 1547 [34.857.2]). With few exceptions, the woodcuts are the same as used in the earlier edition. The portrait on the 1547 title page is not present. There are two additional elevations on fols. HH3v and HH4r, one of which is taken from Serlio.
