Description(Paris, Mamert Patisson, 1676 [sic: i.e., 1576]) Quarto; 72 leaves; old gilt-stamped vellum, red leather label (beige cloth box).
Diagrams and renderings of perspectival views. First edition. The misprinted date on the title page has led some cataloguers to call this a second edition exactly 100 years later (the Getty Research Institute catalogue notes differences in setting and printing ornaments). More likely, this is a variant printing with some type differences (Patisson died by 1601 or 1602).
