DescriptionDinner plate with lightly scalloped edge has an underglaze blue "Fitzhugh" border that consists of butterflies and flowers against an octagonal diaper pattern. Painted at the center of the plate is a winged figure blowing on a trumpet. The angel holds a ribbon, below which is the Order of the Cincinnati medal, an eagle with outstretched, downward-pointing wings with a medallion on its breast.
