DescriptionFolk art- fraktur. writing samplers Capital letter "A" at left, enclosing German verses: Herr/ meinen Geist,/ befehl ich dir... decorated with leaves and tulips; "The spacious firmament on high" (eight lines)written below. Three stanzas right, the first four lines in Gothic lettering the remainder in German script; alphabet in capitals at bottom. Border on three sides.
