Description(Bologna: Giacomo Monti, 1665) Quarto; 36 leaves [lacking two plates]; modern half brown calf, marbled paper boards.
Frontispiece with portrait of Elisabetta Sirani, and woodcut of skull and crossbones (p. 60).
First edition. This copy contains the engraved frontispiece with a portrait of Elisabetta Sirani, but [per copies at Getty and Chicago] lacks two other plates engraved by Tinti after Matteo Borboni (Matheus Borbon), one of which depicts the catafalque Sirani designed for herself.
