DescriptionOriginally attached to a harness to protect the eye of a chariot horse, this blinker bears an image of animal combat executed in repousse. The central figure, a winged sphinx, is pursued by a bearded winged sphinx wearing a helmet and drawing a bow to shoot. Mate to 1981.83.
