DescriptionSeated god on throne at left with star inscribed in crescent above him. Interceding goddess grasps by hand a bare or shaven-headed male suppliant carrying a sacrificial kid on his arm. Another figure holding a situla follows him. The hairdo of this last figure may be compared to that of Akkadian royal figures such as the bronze head from Nineveh and the royal figure represented on the "Sargon Stele."
