DescriptionThe obverse has two djed-pillars in the center, flanked by tyet-knots. The reverse depicts the deceased, kneeling before Anubis.
ProvenanceSaid to have been discovered at Thebes, Deir el-Bahari, royal cache, in 1879. By 1909: Frederick George Hilton Price Collection, London; 1909: sold at Sotheby's, London (12-21 July 1911); by 1956: Nina H. Burnham collection, Bar Harbor, ME; 1956: given to the MFA by Nina H. Burnham.
