Description(Munich: 1818) Large quarto; 18 ff.; contemporary[?] marbled paper boards.

Demonstrations of lithographic technique. Set of bound plates only from the first edition of Senefelder's Vollstandiges Lehrbuch des Steindruckerey (Munich: 1818)--MFA copy: KBR714. The plates were actually issued as a supplement to Senefelder's text, so sometimes are found separately. This copy lacks the two diagrams of lithographic printing presses. It is on considerably larger paper than the other MFA copy with text.
