First edition. Several of the plates are signed with de Passe as the designer and Gaultier or Picart the engraver. Some have only de Passe's name, the engraver's name, or are unsigned. Inserted before the title is a plate by Elie du Mesnil after [Poncelot?], probably the frontispiece from a 1771 Copenhagen-Paris edition of "Endymion, conte comique" (Cohen-de Ricci 1067).
