DescriptionThe round-top stele is carved with figures in raised relief and hieroglyphs in sunk relief. It is inscribed for the chief of metalworkers, Ahmose, and his wife, the lady of the house, Werel, who are represented seated together at the upper left before a table of offerings. Opposite them is their son, Meny. The middle register shows five women seated on the floor dressed as for a banquet and, at the far right, a seated man. The bottom register consists of three horizontal lines of inscription with the conventional offering formula.
