Green Tara sits on a blue/green lotus in a pose of ease (lalitasana), her right hand in varada mudra holding a lotus and her left hand in abhaya mudra holding a lotus. Adorned with Bodhisattva ornaments and clothing, she has an image of Shakyamuni Buddha in her headdress. She is surrounded by rays of gold light and a foliate aureole with green gems, which is in turn surrounded by red and pink lotuses. Above her is a stylized sky with clouds, sun, and moon. Below her on a brocade-covered rock are offerings of fruit, a conch with water, mirror, scarf, and two begging bowls. Also below are flaming jewels, stylized rocks with waterfalls and foliage, small birds, and tiny deer.
