DescriptionAround this aryballos athletes are depicted relaxing in a palaistra. An athlete strips the oil from his body with a strigil. More cleaning equipment hangs on the wall. Three pairs of youths and boys stand in conversation; one youth, who is followed by his dog, offers his younger friend a flower. Between the figures the inscriptions "Panaitios is handsome" (PANAITIOS KALOS).
Condition: Repaired with some restoration.
