DescriptionThe body is plain, black-glazed, as are the neck and handle, the top of the mouth and the rim of the foot being reserved in red. Shoulder: death of Aigisthos in overlapping scenes, (l. to r.) Klytaimnestra with double-axe, Telamedes restraining her, Orestes stabbing Aigisthos, the latter sinking to ground from throne in the hand. A section of shoulder with right lower portion of figured scene, palmette, and upper body design missing, filled in (not colored).
