DescriptionPanel with design of dragon and swirling cloud in gilt paper strip discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a dark greenish-black silk satin ground. There are three carriers along the top and a natural ecru plain-weave hemp lining. This panel belongs to a set of five which originally covered columns surrounding a statue of the Buddha.
