DescriptionSide A: Satyr carrying a silenos on his back; another satyr behind.
Inscription: Charmides is handsome (kalos) .

Side B: Satyr standing with his back turned.

Three satyrs, the mischievous followers of the wine god Dionysus, decorate the front of this amphora. They have been adorned with wreaths and fillets as they perhaps participate in some festival.
