DescriptionHead and right shoulder of a goddess. Hair in tight corkscrew curls; wears round earrings (only left side preserved), a veil, and tall headdress, most of which is broken. Tip of the nose chipped.
ProvenanceSaid to be from Sybaris [see note]. By 1901, bought in Sicily by Edward Perry Warren (b. 1860- d. 1928), London; 1901, sold by E. P. Warren to the MFA. (Accession date: December 1, 1901)
