DescriptionThis figurine depicts a woman holding her breasts. The statuette is flat, and is rendered with a distinct attention to detail that overall emphasizes the woman’s sex. Incisions articulate the woman’s pubic triangle and indicate her fingers, which grasp her breasts. Her legs are colored with a blackish colored paint, while bands of black and red are visible on her neck. Her nose is molded, her mouth is rendered with an incised line, and her eyes are made with added rolls of clay.
