DescriptionThe life-sized male youth tilts his head to his left while gazing downwards. His long, oval face is defined by a thick lower lip and a flat, prominent chin. His short curly hair is articulated above the forehead but is left rough on the back of the head.
Condition: The upper part of the left side of the head and most of the nose are missing. Head was rejoined from two pieces. Toothed chisel and rasp marks are visible on the head. Covered in a brown patina.

Attribution - Mt. Pentelikon. Justification - C and O isotopes, fine grain, Attic style
