DescriptionThin walled jar reveals the color (brown and tan) and swirling pattern of the travertine. A small spout on one side and small horizontal pierced handles. Broken and put together.
Provenance1908, excavated at the cemetery of Mochlos, Crete, by Richard Berry Seager (b. 1882 - d. 1925), acquired in the division of finds, and shipped to the MFA [see note]. (Accession Date: January 14, 1909)
