Catalogue Raisonné Arretine Pottery (MFA), pl. 37.
DescriptionDrinking bowl of Persian type. Shallow bowl with wide flaring rim. On shoulder, elaborate gilded design of various patterns (dotted circles, leaves, zigzags) in separate blocks; and below a continuous guilloche pattern. On body, elongated tongues with raised edges; and on bottom, eight-petalled rosettes. Several cracks in lower wall, and signs of repairing, but no restoration.

Said to be from Asia Minor.
