DescriptionFigural sculpture of a Native American with arms extended, seated bareback on a horse; the figure wears moccasons, a necklace with bear claws, a loincloth, and a long, feathered headdress which extends over the proper left side of the horse. Smaller size cast of the large outdoor version in front of the Museum.
Marks Inscribed on proper left near horse's hoof: "C.E. Dallin 1913."
Stamped on proper right on side of base: "GORHAM CO. FOUNDERS / OPN"
